Influenced equally by artists such as D’Angelo, Joshua Redman, Chick Corea, and Herbie Hancock, the Beau Golden Quartet play a high energy fusion of jazz, swing and heavy groove. Featuring Beau Golden (Keyboards), Daniel Walsh (Guitar), Ivan Pineda (Bass) and Mike Avenaim (Drums) the quartet have played the Manly Jazz Festival, the UNSW Roundhouse, Bondi Markets among others since their formation in 2005.

Together these four talented young musicians have played for countless Sydney acts ranging from jazz to rock and pop, including Bob Barnard, Rebecca Barnard (Rebecca’s Empire), Casey Donovan (Idol), Watussi & Son Veneno to name a few, as well as each individually writing and producing for other pop/rock artists Beau says he “can’t wait to play some of their new compositions from the new album. It’ll be great to give everyone a little taste before the release later this year” The Quartet are currently in the process of recording their debut album and will be back at the Manly Jazz Festival in October.

SUNDAY LIVE

Our weekly Sunday Live sessions featuring some of Australia's finest World, Roots, Jazz & Soul artists are the place to be this Autumn. In addition to our regulars ‘Guy Strazz' and ‘Moussa Diakite's Afro-Jazz Trio', the coming months will also feature exciting performances by Samba Mundi and Salvador Charli. Grab a $8 premuim cocktail, pull up a pew and sink a few with us on Sundays.

We are also expanding our popular Friday and Saturday nights, with an exciting roster of  Sydney's finest DJs spinning the wax. DJs include James Locksmith, Mark Walton, Noel Boogie, DJ Frenzie, Huwtson, Jimi Polar, Paul Master and Jaime Olsen (Rephrase), DJ Elle, plus AB Hotel favourites Tub and Marie.
